Formule et méthodologie

Equal probability: random selection from n options, each with probability 1/n. Weighted: each option assigned a weight W_i. Cumulative probability: sum of weights normalized to 1. Random value in [0,1) selects option based on cumulative ranges. Fair coin flip: two options, each 50%. Wheel segment size = weight_i / sum(all weights) * 360 degrees.

Questions fréquentes

The tool uses a cryptographically seeded pseudo-random number generator, making results practically unpredictable and statistically uniform over many trials. For any single decision, each option with equal weight truly has the same probability of selection. If you find yourself wanting to "spin again," that is a sign you actually prefer one option over others — the decision maker has revealed your preference.
For low-stakes choices (where to eat, who picks the movie), yes — it is efficient and fun. For important life decisions, use the tool as a "preference revealer": notice your emotional reaction to the result. If you feel relieved, that is the right choice. If you feel disappointed, choose the other option. The random result does not matter — your reaction to it does.
